Hi there! My name is Amanda Barnes. I am a passionate educator from the city of Las Vegas. I believe that every student can learn; they just need a growth mindset, someone who believes in them, and the correct tools to succeed! I love coming up with creative ways to help my students understand concepts. My goal as your tutor is to help you grow in difficult subject areas and gain the confidence needed to be successful!

I have taught for 6 years! I have my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from The University of Nevada Las Vegas as well as my Masters Degree in Education from National University. I have spent five years teaching all subjects to grades 3 and 4, and one year teaching Social Emotional Learning to grades k-5. I have also worked as my school's reading specialist working with grades k-5.
