Math is fun! There are so many ways to explore and think about math problems. It is my joy to help students discover the math problem solving methods that work for them. I believe that EVERYONE is capable of enjoying and succeeding at math. I am a certified middle school math teacher with my master's degree in math education. I have been working in education for 20 years and have taught all grade levels. I love to help anyone learn how to do math - from the basics of addition to preparing for the ACT. I have done it all and the students have flourished with my help. When we work together, I will partner with you to find what works for you to be successful. A positive attitude and collaboration are the stepping stones to achieving your goals. Whether you are trying to pass a big test or want to be more confident with specific skills, we will work together to reach the goals together.

My 20 years of education experience have focused on math. During this time I have taught middle school math, specialized in getting students caught up to grade level work, and provided tutoring to help students reach goals and college dreams. I have worked as a tutor for another online company,for Huntington Learning Centers and for Stride. I have taught and tutored for general math courses and for ACT preparation.
