Bio
Hi there! I am so excited to meet you and help you achieve your academic goals. My name is Danielle DuBois and I live in the Hudson Valley of New York. In the summer you can find me in my garden or hiking in the mountains around me. In the winter I love to ski in those same mountains. I travel to fuel my interest in history, culture, and the people of the world. My favorite journey was to study world mythology in Greece, Rome and Egypt. My goal is to connect with young people and help them find their voice and joy in learning.
Teacher Specialization
As a classroom teacher of the humanities for 30 years I strive to spark children's natural curiosity through a variety of activities and authenic , meaningful resources. My goal is to create experiences to challenge and support student's various learning styles to build confidence. I have taught whole class, small group and individually throughout my teaching career. I hold a New York State teaching license and earned a Master's Degree in Education from Syracuse University.
