I'm Donna McEldowney, a seasoned educator with 16 years of teaching expertise. Throughout my career, I have thrived in various educational settings, including 10 years in traditional brick-and-mortar classrooms, 5 years as a virtual teacher with Texas Online Preparatory School, and several years experience as a tutor on film and theater sets, including 1 year as a traveling teacher with the Sound of Music National Tour. 🌟 My goal is to provide the tools and support each student requires for their unique situation and needs. I hold a Master's in Education with a focus on Differentiated Instruction which supports my passion for working with diverse groups of students. In my 16 years as an educator, I have taught students at every grade level in a multitude of settings working with diverse populations. I have taught middle school and high school English as a Special Education teacher in both the Resource and Inclusion settings. I have also taught in the general education and Pre-AP setting including working the gifted students. I have worked with elementary-age students in all subject areas as a tutor.
