I am an enthusiastic English, ESL, and Elementary instructor dedicated to creating an enjoyable, inviting, and dynamic learning atmosphere. I strive to implement traditional and innovative methods in order to help create analytical readers, expressive writers, and effective communicators. It is my belief that every single student has the capability to learn and thrive in the classroom and beyond. It is my passion to implement a diversified style of education in order to help each and every student succeed to their fullest potential. I desire to give students the opportunity to learn in a fun and safe environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a craving for knowledge.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for over 6 years now, and have experience being a 7th grade English teacher, 8th grade English teacher, and elementary English as a Second Language teacher. I have tutored students of all ages in reading, writing, grammar, and literature for more than 10 years. I have a great passion for helping students feel confident and expand their knowledge! I have a B.S. in Teaching English as a Second Language K-12, certification in English 6-8, and a Masters of Ed. in Elementary.
