Bio

Hello all near and far ! My name is Michelle Grant and I am dedicated to shaping young minds through the power of English education. My specialty is exploring the beauty of language and fostering a love for learning. For many years of my life I have worked with the youth in my community and have helped students become independent thinkers. There is not much I enjoy more than working with students in analyzing a novel and discussing elements of plot and other aspects of English. I am creative in my teaching and I pull in the arts to make for more engaging lesssons. I look forward to helping students find their strengths in English and working through challenges to get each of you feeling more confident in this content area. Although English can be intimidating to some, ultimately it is one of the most powerful subjects. Always look for the positives! "Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."– Thomas A. Edison
