Bio
Hi everyone! I'm so excited to work with you. My name is Morgan. My favorite part about tutoring is seeing the "aha!" moments when the content finally clicks with the student. I also love seeing each student's confidence grow, not only academically but also as a person. I welcome all students, and ensure our tutoring space is a safe environment. I am originally from Ohio, but I have recently moved to Alabama. My husband is in the military, so we had to move down for his work. I am currently in graduate school studying to get my master's. In my free time, I love to go camping, go on walks, and read books. I also love to spend as much time as I can with my family. While I do not have any kids yet, I do have 4 fur-babies. I have 3 cats named Brooklyn, Harlem, and Winston; and 1 Boston Terrier named Roscoe.
Teacher Specialization
I receive my bachelors degree in Middle Childhood Education in 2020. I am certified to teach science (grades 4-9), social studies (grades 4-9), and language arts (grades 4-6). After I graduated, I taught 4th and 5th grade science & social studies virtually. I was then hired to teach 6th-grade language arts and science. Throughout my time in college and as a teacher, I have tutored many kids in science, social studies, and language arts.
