Hello! My name is Myrna Negron and I love math, music, traveling, reading and watching Marvel movies. Teaching is my superpower, and I am looking forward to helping you learn and enjoy math. Activating your background knowledge is the starting point to continue developing problem solving strategies that make sense to you. The goal is that, by the end of each session, you feel confident of doing math with minimum assistance or by yourself. I am aware that students learn in different ways and that teachers use different strategies to teach. I will use the best strategy, the one that works for you! I can teach math in Spanish or English... you choose. No matter the language, I will help you achieve your full potential.

I have a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. After ten years in the pharmaceutical company, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching mathematics. I have been a certified middle and high school teacher for nineteen years. I have taught second grade to tenth grade math including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry.
