Hi! My name is Miss. Deevers and I'm here to help you. I have been teaching and working with students with a wide variety of academic needs for multiple years which you can learn more about in my experiences below. Throughout these experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with students at all levels and in all academic subject areas. These opportunities have prepared me to support all students through their academic challenges- even through a virtual setting. It is my belief that every individual has the ability to learn and grow--together we can make it happen. I believe each student has a unique way to learn, and I will work to meet you where you are at and teach you in a way that makes sense to you. It is my job, as an educator, to support all learners through scaffolding and differentiation to help each student reach their highest potential.

While pursing a degree in education, I worked as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom and a caregiver for an elementary student with special needs. Once graduated, I taught in a self-contained cross-categorial classroom working with a wide variety of student needs including but not limited to academic challenges and functional skills. Currently, I work as an resource room teacher through MOVA. Certifications: Bachelor's in Special Education Birth-12th, Elementary Education 1st-6th
