Bio

Salve! Ciao! Bonjour Tout Le Monde! Empowering All to Master Reading, Writing "Sapientia Omnia Vincit" (Wisdom Conquers All)! My teacher/tutor philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has unique talents, potential, and learning styles that deserve to be nurtured and celebrated. As a tutor, my primary goal is to facilitate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students can not only grasp academic concepts but also foster a genuine passion for learning particularly those in the Humanities with strong emphasis in World Language acquisition. I prioritize building strong relationships with my students, infused with learning tools such as Flipgrid, Quizlet and real world approaches. Sessions are built by establishing trust , open communication, and mutual respect so I can be a real and caring guide. By actively listening to my students, understanding their goals and challenges, I tailor my teaching and aim to facilitate a lifelong love of learning!

Teaching Specialization

I have been a distance learning teacher and tutor since 2009. I enjoy the technology tools I have learned to make tutoring student centered. I work in a small face-to-face learning center weekly focusing on reading and writing intervention as well as online where teaching 8th grade ELA full time as well as with a small private Catholic Washington, DC area.
