Bio

Hello! I'm Gayle Lynch, a firm believer in every student's ability to learn to read. My teaching philosophy centers on a personalized, multisensory approach that incorporates fun and games into the learning experience. Tailoring lessons to each student's specific needs, I provide immediate feedback to create a safe and supportive environment. My ultimate goal is not just reading proficiency but instilling a genuine love for reading and encouraging critical thinking skills. Beyond teaching, I find joy in activities like reading, long walks, and travel, having explored over 20 countries. My dedication to teaching is rooted in personal challenges with reading during my childhood and my son's success in overcoming dyslexia. Witnessing his achievements motivates me to help students cultivate a lifelong love for learning through the transformative power of reading.

Teaching Specialization

I began teaching in 1993 and have taught in various capacities since then: public school, private school, and home school. I have spent most of my adult life teaching children to read. It is my passion and my joy. My dream job has always been to teach kids to read. Now, as a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, I do just that.
