I have taught middle and high school students Math, ELA, and Science (10yrs+). My utmost objective is to ensure that the study of these subjects becomes accessible and meaningful for all students, considering their individual needs, interests, and aspirations. My teaching approach revolves around actively engaging students through dynamic and project-based lessons that foster critical thinking, and effective communication, focusing on their strengths, and nurturing their distinctive voices, interests, and skills. Drawing upon my experience as a previous special education teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge and strategies. I firmly believe in differentiating instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and strengths. By utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, multi-modal resources, and adaptive materials, I aim to provide learners with opportunities and empower them to excel and grow, express their ideas, and develop a genuine passion for learning.
I have been teaching at Round Rock ISD from October 2019 to 2020, and currently, I am a teacher at Stride Inc (K12) since October 2020.
