Hello! I'm an English and ELL teacher with a passion for working with kids to help support them in feeling successful academically and building the skills they need to be successful later in life as well. I have taught middle and high school in three different countries, and lived in four different countries since I was 14. I love to travel, read, study new languages, watch movies and TV shows, and am slowly starting to get into playing video games. I have a cat named Stan who I love, and who will probably make an appearance in our sessions at some point! I really enjoy working with kids one on one and in small groups to strengthen their ELA skills, support their class work, and generally help them to better understand and hopefully even enjoy English! I try to make my lessons fun, engaging, and tailored to the needs and interests of my students. I look forward to working with you!

I have been teaching full time for 9 years and in classrooms for 11, but I started tutoring both in person and online while still in college, so my experience working with and supporting students is closer to 14 years. I'm certified to teach English and ELL (English Language Learners) 6-12, and to work as a reading specialist and interventionist K-12. I have taught in a variety of schools, settings, and environments both domestically and abroad.
