Bio
Hi there! I am excited about the opportunity to join you on your education journey! My four children, husband, and I are originally from Metro Atlanta, GA but moved to the peaceful area of Bristol, TN in 2021. In my spare time, I play the keyboard in my church band, as well as my fair share of video games :) I pride myself on forming positive teacher-student relationships and using interactive lessons to teach foundational skills and concepts. I am committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that values diversity and acceptance. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the understanding that every student brings a unique set of strengths, challenges, and perspectives to the classroom.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught a variety of subjects and grade levels, with most of my experience in the middle school setting. I have experience teaching students with disabilities and spent several years as a Special Education Teacher. I am certified in many different subjects, including Middle Grades Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, 6-12 History and Computer Science, as well as Special Education - General Curriculum.
