Hi! My name is Brittany Ackerman, a middle school English Language Arts teacher for 6 years now. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, which has really improved my skills as an educator. My teaching philosophy is to provide rigorous instruction while encouraging students to have a love for reading and writing.

I have a BA in English and Secondary Education and will graduate in July of this year with my MA in Curriculum and Instruction. I have experience teaching middle school and high school English, and experience tutoring Elementary school reading, writing, and math.
