Bio
Hello! My name is Danielle and I love all things literacy! I have been a classroom teacher for more than 10 years and specialize in helping students master reading, writing and communicating. For more than 7 years, I have tutored students diagnosed with dyslexia and helped them become strong, confident readers and writers. Much of our work together will be game-based and fun!! I also am the author of "Trail Mix: Stories of Youth Overcoming Adversity," a nonfiction book about youth overcoming some of life's most difficult challenges -- alcoholic household, learning disability, life-threatening illness -- through programs based in the wilderness. I live in beautiful Colorado where I enjoy running, hiking, biking, golfing and playing outdoors whenever I can. I look forward to working with you soon!
