Bio
Hello! I'll come to each of our sessions excited to help my students find their "aha!" moments by asking questions that encourage reflection and helping students leverage the knowledge they already have. I work to make the subject we are working on approachable to the student and to provide multiple ways to access the content (audio, text, visuals, etc.). I aim to help students find a deeper and clearer understanding of concepts they may have been struggling with - I am especially passionate about helping students feel that they can conquer math. I believe that ALL students are capable of being great mathematicians! I hope to encourage all my students to value innovative strategies and critical thinking. I build positive rapport with my students and take into account their interests, strengths, abilities, and needs when personalizing my lessons for each student. In addition to being an educator, I am a wife and a mother who enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with my family.
