Bio
My experience in education has prepared me to contribute immediately to individual student's needs and the school district's mission of providing a high quality education for each student. I am excited about continuing my career as an elementary school tutor; which will provide the opportunity for me to share my passion for learning with each student. My teaching has consistently resulted in helping students apply the material and advance them to the next level of their academic careers. I believe in meeting students where they are in their learning. As a teacher I have experience with differentiated instruction, developing interventions for struggling students, fostering positive communication & teamwork with students and parents, and creating an excitement for learning. I am confident that my passion, experience, and values will make a meaningful and long-term contribution to the educational program at Stride.
Teacher Specialization
I have my degree in Elementary Education where I have taught fourth and first grade in a classroom setting. I have also worked as a reading teacher for a year. I have worked with various different grade levels as a substitute teacher while growing my family. I also hold my English Language Authorization.
