Bio
I am entering into the empty nesting phase of my life and looking to do what I love best; teach students! Building a good rapport with students helps them be comfortable and able to communicate areas where they need help. I believe that learning should be engaging and I use various teaching methods and strategies to make my students’ lessons interactive and fun. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals and take pride in their success. I try to promote the love of learning in all my students, learning should be fun and a lifelong process! One of my biggest success stories is raising my 4 children and instilling not only the importance of education, but the passion and love to learn! When I am not spending time with family or our new puppy, I like to travel new places , hike, play pickleball and play games.

I am a passionate and an experienced Mathematics teacher and tutor with more than 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Finance with Mathematics minor; and a Master's degree in Business Administration and CA teaching credential. I taught middle school and high school math for 7 years in the classroom. I have also tutored and done math centers in elementary school for 15 years.
