I love working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential. I believe in making learning fun, interactive, and meaningful. I want my students to WANT to be in my classroom and I love having fun in class myself. This makes for an engaging learning environment that your child will love. I treat each student the way I want my own children treated. I am a mother of six children of my own - all with varying strengths and weaknesses and know how to tap into student strengths to build those weak spots. Let's work together!
Teacher Specialization
I've taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade general education, ESL, and special education. I attended Texas A&M University and received my bachelor's and master's degrees from there. I have a M.Ed. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading Instruction. I am a certified Reading Specialist, Master Reading Teacher and have additional certifications in ESL and special education.
