Bio
My name is Kimberly Green and I am excited to share a bit about myself. My goal is to help kids of all ages succeed in school. I like to get an understanding of the student’s needs & strive to find the best approach to boosting their grades and confidence. I do this by gaining a thorough understanding of their strengths and then match teaching techniques to their academic goals. I’m an interactive and supportive tutor, using visual aids and hands on learning as much as possible. I strive to make their learning experience both fun and informative. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals and take pride in their success. I am extremely comfortable with/and can adapt to different learning styles and needs quickly. In my free time, I like to hang out with my family (we have 5 kids), our English bulldog Winston (he is stinky & ridiculously funny), make some crafts, and do some canning/baking (with some major fails). I love challenges and meeting goals.
Teacher Specialization
I have 20 years of teaching experience in K-12 education. My Masters is in critical research of elementary education with endorsements in the areas of: English Language Learners, special education and Talented & Gifted. I have taught general education and special education in K-8. I have tutored kids in all subjects in grades K-12. I am also familiar with home school curricula, as I have been homeschooling my own children for the last two years.
