Introducing me! Ms. C, a dedicated and passionate educator with a heart full of warmth and a mind brimming with creativity. I like to think I have a natural flair for incorporating creativity into my lessons. For elementary students I incorporate music, games and colorful animation in my lessons. When working with middle schoolers, I recognize the apathy for school many struggle with and go out of my way to meet my students where they are and engage them in their learning journey. In the heart of my teaching philosophy lies the belief that education is not just about imparting knowledge but also about instilling a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. My approach is a blend of expertise, empathy, and a touch of whimsy, creating an educational space where students flourish, mistakes are celebrated, and the joy of discovery is at the forefront.
Teacher Specialization
I have 12 years experience teaching grades K-7th. I am a certified Special Education Teacher and a Reading Interventionist. I have served as an Executive Function Coach for middle school students both in-person and virtually. I struggled in middle school myself, as did both of my children and believe those experiences have given me insight and tools to reach struggling students.
