Bio
My approach to teaching is to make learning not only fun and engaging but accessible to all of my students, meeting them where they are at and addressing their needs. As a tutor I hope to help my students not just increase their academics but also build their confidence and belief in themselves. I begin all my sessions with a brief check-in with my student to not only build and continue to maintain that rapport, but also because it helps me better meet my students where that are at during that individual session. Although I am always in the middle of a good book, I also enjoy being active and even as a mama to two little boys I still enjoy surfing, skateboarding, doing yoga and all the other fun activities I enjoyed prior to becoming a mom.
Teacher Specialization
