Bio
I believe that each learner is capable of achieving success. In life, we get out what we put in. Sometimes the journey can be challenging, but the feeling of finally accomplishing a goal is second to none! A goal of mine is to help learners strengthen and refine their skills while boosting their confidence as a learner. Building a positive relationship with students is so important. I have a very laid back personality and I am very positive and optimistic. When I am not teaching I love playing chess and fishing. I taught myself how to do both hobbies and I continue to learn more about both chess and fishing each day.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a 5th grade teacher in Maryland for 5 years. Previously, I was a long term substitute teaching in northeastern Pennsylvania. I have taught all subject areas in 4th and 5th grade as well as 6th grade math. I earned my bachelor's in early childhood education from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania.
