Hi there! Ms. Newell here! I live in Virginia with my boyfriend, who is a pilot in the Navy, and my sweet dog, Lola. Outside the realm of teaching, you'll find me embracing the challenge of lifting weights, playing volleyball, spending time with my four-legged companion, Lola, and reading. As an avid reader, I am currently immersed in the captivating storytelling of Kristin Hannah's "The Nightingale." I also admire the insights of Brianna Wiest's nonfiction works. I'm passionate about fostering an environment of curiosity and continuous learning. I believe the written word is a gateway to endless possibilities and a source of lifelong learning and I strive to create a classroom atmosphere that not only imparts information, but also sparks a thirst for knowledge and a passion for discovery. I believe that education is a lifelong journey, and I am committed to instilling in my students the belief that every day is an opportunity to learn something new. I cannot wait to meet you!
