Bio
Hello! My name is Talin Postik and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your child. I love helping children succeed in school and enjoy the learning process! I believe that all children can be successful learners given the right tools and strategies they need. I enjoy seeing students problem-solve and become independent learners who can tackle any challenges they face. My students always tell me that I make difficult lessons easy to understand. I am able to break down the learning process into small, comprehensible steps so that students are not overwhelmed and can feel confident in trying new challenges. My strength is in teaching math. I'm also told that I make students feel comfortable and valuable. Each student brings their own unique strengths and interests, and I believe those should be used in the learning process and celebrated. I would love to work with your student to see them succeed and accomplish great things!

I have 17 years of teaching, substitute teaching, and private tutoring. I have taught fourth and fifth grades full time for 13 of those years. I have a Master's Degree in elementary education and a clear California multiple-subject teaching credential. I tutor all subjects in grades 1 through 6.
