Bio
Hello! I'm Mrs. Hackney. I grew up in New Jersey then moved to Florida after finishing school. I am married with a sweet 3 month old baby and a dog named Gunner. I believe that all students have their own way of learning and it is so important to make adjustments as needed to ensure that each student is successful. Learning should always be fun and enjoyable for students. I like to build relationships with students by getting to know them and find what meets their educational needs.
Teacher Specialization
I started out teaching VPK for about 3 years then later moved onto working with an ESE teacher to help support students that have additional needs. After that, I taught 3rd grade as an assistant teacher. My most recent experience is teaching 1st grade with an ESOL and reading endorsement. My background in various areas has taught me to make adjustments as needed along the way to meet the needs of my students.
