Bio
Hey friends! I go by Mrs. Tucker. I am so glad you're here! I am licensed to teach grades K-5 in both Tennessee and Missouri. I was raised in a family full of teachers... it's literally in my blood! I believe that all students (no matter the age) need different things to be successful in the classroom. Whether that is extra practice after class on certain skills, working one-on-one with a tutor (once a week or even five times a week), a cheerleader rooting for them, or differentiation in a lesson that was taught the day before--they deserve whatever that might be! As their tutor, it is my job to give them that extra support. I love watching our future teachers, doctors, electricians, welders, (I could go on and on) become successful in their everyday life. Teaching is more than just teaching, teaching is investing in our future, and I would love to help you invest in yours!
Teacher Specialization
I started teaching back in 2018. When I started, I was in brick and mortar teaching 2nd grade. I then went to teach fourth grade (all subjects for 2 years). After teaching 4th grade, I moved closer to home and taught 5th grade for a couple of months before accepting a job with Stride. I am now going on my 3rd year with stride. I have taught 2nd grade math and science the last two years. I have also been a softball and volleyball coach.
