I believe every student is unique and deserves instruction tailored to their needs and personality. With many years experience in special education classrooms, I am comfortable supporting students who might have ADHD, dyslexia, or have other learning difficulties. If a student has an IEP or 504 I am comfortable working with their goals. If they don’t have an individualized plan I am happy to create goals with the student/family/teacher so we can best utilize our time. Tutoring should be fun and effective. I want it to be something students look forward to, and maybe even be a highlight of their day! I have a master’s degree in teaching and a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in writing. I am certified to teach PreK - 5th grade general education and PreK - 12th grade special education. I enjoy reading fiction novels, swimming with my 2 year old daughter and husband at the beach, and gardening. Although I have 3 cats that I love, my favorite animal is dogs!
