Bio

So many people helped me become who I am, and I entered the education field to help young people become the best versions of themselves. I have a love for the mathematics, and I hope to motivate and connect with students to help them attain their goals. My wife and I have 3 kids so we're very busy with all their activities. Once upon a time, I coached high school and college football, enjoy being a fan of my favorite teams, and also have a bit of a creative/art streak - I started my own LLC this year for vintage designs on apparel. My family loves to travel to northern Michigan, and I love a great burger from a hole-in-the-wall restaurant!

Teacher Specialization

I spent 13 years as a HS Math teacher having mainly taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 (Grades 9-12). Along with that, the last 3 years I've been a tutor with a mixture of online and in-person (students ranging from 6th - college) I majored in Adolescent-Young Adult Education (a fancy way of saying 7-12 Math) at the University of Dayton. Go Flyers! Finally, I received my Master's in Education (with a technology endorsement) from Bluffton University.
