I am an educator deeply committed to the well-being and academic success of my students. I'm always looking for creative ways to help them achieve their educational goals in a way that suits them best. I absolutely love working in small groups because it allows me to use tailored teaching methods that cater to each student's specific needs. My top priority in every session is to help my students become more confident and independent, so they can succeed in the regular classroom. Whether it's one-on-one or in small groups, I always want my students to feel comfortable and well-prepared.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade English for 26 years. I earned a Masters in Arts Degree focusing on curriculum and instruction from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelors in Arts. As a regular classroom teacher, I am an expert in differentiating curriculum to meet the needs of all students, whether they need more rigorous lessons or more scaffolded ones. I am state certified to teach Secondary English and French with an ESL endorsement.
