Bio
Hello, my name is Ms. Buras. I enjoy gardening, photography, and baking. I love to bake and decorate holiday cookies. My favorite cuisine is pizza! Okay, pizza isn’t its own cuisine, but it should be. I decided to tutor because I like helping student learn in a fun way. I believe students learn best when education is fun, engaging and hands on. I differentiate learning by teaching students where they are at and allowing for student choice and feedback. I provide ongoing feedback during lessons and after sessions, when appropriate. As a tutor, I will strive to make learning engaging, relevant and student centered. My goals for students include making sure they are supported, learn, and grow. I want to support students in meeting their goals so they can succeed. I will do this by encouraging critical thinking, relevant connections, and creativity. My classroom is usually relaxed, safe and fun. This encourages positive rapport and appropriate relationships with students.
