Bio
As an educator, I believe the most important thing I can do for my students is to work alongside them to create a positive learning environment. I do this through devoting time to daily classroom mindfulness, restorative practices between students, and social emotional learning. As your tutor, I am here to empower you as a learner. As we work together to set goals, I will help you to determine what makes you successful as a learner. I will also give you the tools to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills that can be applied across a variety of subjects. In addition to teaching, I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy exploring the beautiful nature trails in our home state of Idaho. Some of my hobbies include cooking, kayaking, and reading. A fun fact about me is that I was born in Germany. I look forward to getting to know you and starting our tutoring journey together!
