With my extensive experience in math education, I discovered I enjoy engaging with students one-on-one or in small groups. This personalized approach allows me to form deeper connections with my students, enabling me to delve into their grasp of mathematics, their thought processes, and their communication skills within mathematics. I'm also dedicated to identifying and overcoming any questions or hurdles that impede their understanding. I aim to make learning educational, engaging, and accessible. I am excited to help you learn mathematics! When I am not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, running, camping, reading, and crafting. I am also a personal trainer and nutrition coach. I love helping my clients achieve their fitness goals.

I earned a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics and an Ed. S. in Leadership with a focus on Curriculum. I have been in education for over 20 years. For the first 16 years, I was a classroom math teacher and then a Math Instructional Coach. I taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Honors Precalculus, Precalculus, Algebra 3, IB Mathematics SL, College Algebra, Finite Math, College Trig, Calculus 1 and 2. I have tutored for the last four years through various platforms.
