Bio
Hello! Whatever subject or age I am teaching, I strive to equip and empower my students by weaving in soft skills (work-readiness/life skills) such as critical thinking skills, goal-setting, time management, and organization with hard skills (content). There are many ways in which people learn. When we work together, I will partner with you to help you find what works for you to be successful. My favorite subject-areas are career-readiness (CRE), Social Studies, and English as Foreign Language (EFL). When I am not working, I enjoy spending time at my children's sports and school events, traveling, being at home with my dogs, and learning new things. (I recently completed a computer coding course!) Our youth are our future. I look forward to helping you reach your goals, hone skills that are beneficial both in and out of the classroom, and supporting you along your academic journey!

I have taught in various capacities for over 20 years. I have taught ages 2-82 in public and private K12 settings as well as at the college level in small, rural and large, urban environments. I taught overseas in Asia for seven years. I am comfortable supporting upper elementary, middle school, and high school students in multiple disciplines and subjects.
