Bio
I have worked in education for over 12 years as a teacher, tutor, and counselor. I have 2 incredible children that I am homeschooling. Coming up with new and creative ways to help them and all my students learn and understand difficult concepts is something I enjoy. I love helping my students grow to advocate for themselves by asking questions when they do not understand. I am passionate about teaching the why behind difficult concepts so that my students understand the reasoning behind the processes and aren't just doing it because that's what they were told to do. My goals for tutoring are to help students realize their strengths in difficult subjects and help them gain confidence to be successful in their academic endeavors.

I received my undergraduate degree from Angelo State University in Elementary Education. I also have a Master's of Education in Educational Administration, as well as a Master's of Education in Guidance and Counseling. I am certified to teach all subjects in grades PK-6. I also have my ESL certification, Special Education certification, Counseling certification, and Principal certification.
