Bio
I focus on helping students do well in their studies, think critically, and be creative. By connecting the curriculum to their individual interests and passions, I strive to make learning more meaningful and engaging. I build strong relationships with them in a friendly and supportive setting, ensuring that their unique learning styles and interests are considered. Having taught in elementary schools, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of tailoring lessons to resonate with students' interests. Outside of work, I like cooking and hiking, and I often find ways to integrate these hobbies into my teaching methods, making lessons relatable and fun. I chose to be a tutor because I care deeply about helping kids learn and grow, and I believe that connecting learning to their interests is key to fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Over the past 8 years, I have engaged with kids in various roles, including mentoring, educating, facilitating activities and tutoring. I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching and possess a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Educational Studies from California Lutheran University.
