Bio
Hello! My name is Cathleen Bierman, and I am exited about teaching and learning with you during this tutoring process. My husband and I live in the beautiful state of Georgia! We have a 2-year old Italian Greyhound (IGGY) named Joey. Each and everyday is an adventure with him as he is full of spunk and energy. As far as teaching goes, I have fun teaching and learning each and everyday. As for my philosophy, learning is all about having fun. We will get our work done and have fun at the same time. In fact, my students and parents always tell me, "Miss Cathleen, you make learning fun and what I learn sticks!" I will do everything I can do to help you out in whatever area you need, and we will have fun doing so. Again, I look forward to learning with you!
Teacher Specialization
My teaching career launched in 2011, when I graduated with a Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education. Additionally, I have a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management. I have been teaching and tutoring remotely for 8 years grades K - 12 in all subjects. I taught ESL to English language learners for 6 years. I have extensive experience teaching all students with disabilities. Prior to teaching online, I taught in brick-and-mortar. With Miss Cathy; learning is fun!
