Hello! My name is Contessa Spinner. I have a degree in Elementary and Middle Education. I enjoy working with students to help them find their passion for reading. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching Game Show Network. Whether you need help with your homework, a refresher on a specific skill, or instruction on a new concept, I can help you out. I look forward to working with you!
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching middle school English/Language Arts for 16 years. I currently teach 6th grade English, working with students of all levels. I have a Masters in Education with a Reading endorsement. Over the years, I have taught English in grades 6-8 ranging from honors level to remedial. I have the ability and knowledge to tutor students in reading at the elementary level as well. In the past, I have tutored students with reading deficits.
