Bio
After being in the classroom for a few years, I realized that the most effective way for students to learn was through small group and individualized instruction, which is why I love tutoring. When I tutor, I meet students where they are while challenging them to grow further. Students are always smarter than they think and capable of amazing accomplishments. When I'm not working, I enjoy ballroom dancing, sewing, and cooking. I try to take care of the home while building my own knowledge and skills, and importantly staying active. I'd love to get to know you and help you grow in your knowledge.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated with a BA in Religious Studies from the College of William and Mary, and am a certified teacher in English 6-12 and Elementary Education. I have three years experience tutoring Spanish, one and a half years in teaching elementary education, one year of middle school ELA, and half a year of high school English.
