Hello, My name is Gerard and I love to help students get better at Math! My students call me Mr. G :) I know it's easy to get behind in Math and I like to help students catch up little by little. So I try to help students just be honest about where they are and then try to help them build Math confidence over time. I try to make Math fun and insert Math games when I can. I have played basketball my whole life and recently played in Hoops for Hawaii and played for 24 hours to help the Ronald McDonald House! I also love music and am learning to play pop music on my electric accordion. And I like to cook Italian food and make fudge. I also enjoy animals very much and walk my daughter's dog almost every day.

I taught 6 years of public HS Math including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, & Geometry. I taught 1 year of Remote HS Geometry, Algebra 1 & 2 with Elevate K-12. I taught 2 years of Grades 4-6 Math at a private school and 2 years of Intervention Math for Grades 5-8 at a public school. I also tutored students in Math remotely for 2 years in Grades 4-12 with my own tutoring company. And I created Math content K-12 + College for many publishers: Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Chegg, IXL, LearningMate & others.
