Hi everyone! I'm Hollee Ellis, and I'm super excited to be an English Language Arts tutor at Stride Tutoring, here to make the English language, writing, and literature a blast for you. I have been in the world of education for over 20 years. My goal is to create a fun and welcoming space where you can explore your voice and enjoy ELA. Whether we're dissecting cool stories, discussing novels, polishing up your writing skills, or getting our brains into critical thinking mode, I'm all about making it work for your unique style of learning. Teacher Specialization
During my 16-year tenure as a classroom teacher and as the English Department Head, I instructed all levels from English I and II (9-10) to English IV (12). In Speech/Theatre I-IV (9-12) and Mass Media III-IV (11-12), I guided students in building communication skills. Outside of the classroom, I worked in Education Technology and Nonprofit marketing for several years. Each of these instructional and professional experiences helps me guide students to achievable goals and full potential.
