Hi I'm Jim Guida, a lifelong learner and passionate educator with over 20 years experience. Life is a wonderful adventure with limitless possibilities to explore and enjoy. It is also full of challenges but overcoming those challenges and taking them in STRIDE is what builds our character. Lets discover the ways of overcoming your learning challenges together so that you can fully enjoy all of the adventures that await you. Knowledge is Power and with it, everything in life can be taken in STRIDE! Do you have a growth mindset like me? I love discovering new places, people and food! I’ve lived in New York and in places that most people haven’t heard of. I have too many hobbies to list but for a few: Astronomy (all sciences), Cooking, Construction, Exploring Nature, Family, Music, Paragliding, Pets, Sports(all) and so many others. I was a coach for my school’s Stock Market Game Team (Business) that won the State Competition 2 years in a row. I was a facilitator for my district’s High Ropes Adventure Course (zip lining). I worked as an Industrial Hygienist in the science field and as Financial Consultant in the business field before teaching; Connecting our learning to the real world
