Welcome! Science is my Jam! I LOVE teaching and have taught for over 30 years! I have been in the brick and mortar classroom and have now transitioned online. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of early adolescent science; and certified to teach in 7 different states. I enjoy supporting students through their academic journey by building confidence and organization. When not teaching, you can find me spending time with my amazing family and my dogs. I love to travel and have a goal of seeing all 50 states (I am at 46!). I love painting and drawing and most any form of art. I can't wait to meet you, work with you and get to know you as well.
Teacher Specialization
I spent my first 30 years of teaching in a traditional classroom. I began my career in the special education classroom working with students of various needs. I then transitioned to the middle school where I loved teaching for 12 years. I then moved to the high school and taught allied health biology for 10 years. I have spent the past 4 years teaching for STRIDE. With STRIDE I have taught 6th - 8th grade sciences, biology, health careers, and medical terminology.
