Bio
I believe students all have their own specific way of learning, not everyone sees the content the same way. I view a student's individual needs and bring their learning style into how I tutor. I hope to create problem solvers and critical thinkers that can be confident learning on their own. I build positive relationships with all my students that are supportive for any type of learner, no matter the subject! I love working with students individually and watching them grow to become independent and confident learners. I am a long time "teacher" of many things, including golf, one of my favorite hobbies! Being outside is a passion of mine, I love the outdoors and exploring!
Teacher Specialization
I have been in the professional education world for 9 years, but have been "teaching" in all different types of capacities for about 15 years! I have worked with all ages of students from 0-18 years old. I went to college at Valparaiso University. My bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. I also have a secondary math endorsement, which is where I have spent my last 7 years, teaching high school math!
