Hi Everyone! I am Joan Grace. I'm from the Philippines and was given a privilege to work here in US. I chose to become a tutor because I want to provide students the kind of personalized support they need to be successful and motivated learners. I believe that each student is unique and capable of achieving their full potential. My role as a tutor is to mentor students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and in life. I aim that my teaching method adapts to accommodate the various learning style of students to ensure a successful learning environment.I am passionate in making my learners learn and ignite that desire for learning. To my future students, I am excited to have a fun, engaging and meaningful tutoring session with you.
Teacher Specialization
I have 7 years of classroom teaching experience. Two years of that was in the Philippines which I handled Grade 7-10 Science. 5 years of my teaching experience was in Ajo, AZ USA. I handled Grades 9-12 Science such as Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science and Environmental Science. Also, I have 2 years of tutoring experience including the time when we transitioned to online platform when School was closed due to covid.
