Bio

Hello, my name is Jonna Zenner. I live in the Kansas City area and love all to watch all KC sports! I became a tutor because I love to work with students and help them to understand the beauty of math. I believe that learning can inspire students to achieve more. I know that each student learns in a different way. I strive to help make math relatable to each student so they can see the need for math in their lives. Working with students and being able to provide that immediate feedback on their work is important for helping students to succeed. My goal is to help students understand math and see that is it really all around. Math goes beyond just knowing the content but helping to build problem solving skills for life. I hope that my excitement about math will help energize students to learrn. Education and understanding can help to open doors for the future.

Teacher Specialization

I have experience in teaching mathematics in grades 8-12 and even taught in post secondary as well. I am also have experience in teaching high school business classes. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minor in Mathematics, Master's of Arts in Teaching, and Master's in Mathematics.
