My name is Karen Martin and I live in Central Florida. I absolutely love teaching virtually and finding ways to connect with my students. Through this platform, I get to work with students 1-1, or in small groups, which allows me to cater to their individual learning styles and see where there may be discrepancies. Some students just need a quick refresher, while others may need more remediation. During our sessions, I like to start with an introduction to the skills and then transition into guided and individual work time. My hope is that when you receive these tutoring services, it will help your confidence and help you achieve success in the school year!
Teacher Specialization
This will be my 20th year teaching! I have enjoyed working with students on every grade level and have spent the last 9 years teaching virtually for K12/Stride. I am fully certified in Special Education, Elementary Education, Drama, and ESOL. I have a BA in Theatre and a Master’s in Education. My M.Ed was in the field of Divergent Learning. In addition, I have my MBA and I am nationally board certified in special education.
