Hello! My name is Mrs. Stuve! I'm an avid sports fan, retro video game player. and lover of music and movies. I'm currently learning Mandarin, so I am now again a student of learning. I am told I am a patient, kind, and an encouraging tutor. I also think it is very important to build rapport and trust with students. I like to go at a pace that is comfortable to the student. I also welcome questioning. I think that means they are wanting to know how and what to do on the problem. I am also very considerate if students make a mistake, I like to try to teach the easiest way to solve a problem and will try to incorporate interests of students into the math problems. I think this is what makes me a great tutor.
Teacher Specialization
I have a degree in Mathematics from Northeastern State University. I taught for 9.5 wonderful years in Oklahoma. I taught 8th-grade math to Algebra 2 and classes in between. The past 7.5 years I have been tutoring online. I was once named top 10% of tutors and have had a steady rating of 5 stars with over 1100 reviews. I love to teach! It is my passion and what I have always meant to do. I have been told that I am a great teacher because I explain very well and can make math fun.
