Bio
I have been teaching for over 23 years. I have taught everything from kindergarten to college and feel as if this makes me a better teacher - and person! I have worked in Special Education, inner city, online, in person, and even on a farm! It has been the best decision of my life. I am a relational teacher. I love connecting with my students on a personal level and establishing a strong working relationship first. If we don't have that, I do not believe a student will have success in any learning environment. I truly desire and believe that every student can learn - and learn well - given the right environment and support system. I am hopeful to be a part of that and continue to help you grow and learn! Teacher Specialization
I have been certified in English and Physical Education for 23 years in both the state of Michigan and, more recently, in Indiana. I have taught consistently over the years in brick and mortar, a private university, a public community college, private tutoring and through Sylvan tutoring centers. I have worked with students in grades kindergarten through college and have enjoyed every level. My strengths are the middle school age range and grammar! I love grammar!
